"Hold My Hand" is a duet between the American recording artist Michael Jackson and Senegalese-American singer-songwriter Akon taken from Jackson's first posthumous release, Michael. The song was originally recorded by Jackson in 2008 as set to be released as the first single from Akon's 2008 album, Freedom. Akon finished recording his own vocals for the song in 2010.
