For this blog, we're going to study about how to form basic sentences.
In thai, the word order in affirmative is the same as in English which is:
SUBJECT+ VERB + (OBJECT)
and for question and negative sentence, we just apply the same rule as I mentioned before in previous lesson:
Yes/ No Question: SUBJECT+ VERB + (OBJECT) + MáI?
Negative: SUBJECT+ MâI + VERB + (OBJECT)
Example sentence :
- Phŏm mii phûan khon Thai
(I have Thai friends)
ผมมีเพื่อนคนไทย
- Phŏm mâi mii phûan khon Thai
(I don't have (any) Thai friends)
ผมไม่มีเพื่อนคนไทย
- Khun mii phûan khon Thai mái?
(Do you have Thai friends?)
คุณมีเพื่อนคนไทยไหม
Let's know some common verbs and make sentences :)
mii = have มี
gin (common) = eat กิน
thaan (formal) = eat ทาน
dèum = drink ดื่ม
pai = go ไป
maa = come มา
ao = want เอา
châwp = like ชอบ
tham = do/ make ทำ
thamngaan = work ทำงาน
tham aahăan = cook ทำอาหาร
rian = learn/ study เรียน
pen = to be something/ someone เป็น
yùu = to be somewhere/ stay/ locate อยู่
rúujàk = know something/ someone รู้จัก
rúu = know รู้
leum = forget ลืม
khâojai = understand เข้าใจ
glàp = return กลับ (i.e. glàp bâan = go home กลับบ้าน)
chái = use ใช้
wâaináam = swim ว่ายน้ำ
lên = play เล่น
fang = listen ฟัง
phûud = speak พูด
àan = read อ่าน
khĭan = write เขียน
duu = watch ดู
hěn = see เห็น
nawn = sleep นอน
khìi = ride ขี่
khàp = drive ขับ
pòed = open/ turn on เปิด
pìd = close/ turn off ปิด
Try to make sentences in affirmative, negative and questions and speak it out loud to yourself or practise it with your friends!

so which type is correct?

phom phuud paasaathai mai dii
and the word´forget´ no is the third tone?

I don't quite understand your second question here. Do you mean the word "no"?
It's "mâi" -- following tone. For the word "forget", there's no tone.
I had the same question as Triq. Do I understand this correct:
